This added length allows you to cover the bed pillow which gives a finished look to the bed without the addition of extra pillows. For regular beds, you can use an 8 or 9 inch hugger with a bed skirt. But I like the fitted look the whole way down to the bed frame. It's a clean look. Often we go the extra mile trying to help a customer find additional items that we can't provide. Here our customer wanted a toss pillow so we made many suggestions including lavender cord, grey cord, grey velvet, grey chiffon rose, gold tassel throw pillow and a couple of these pillows with words which seem to be in style right now. I'm not sure what she went with but it was fun looking for ideas!
